

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial and retail construction projects across the Southeastern US and Texas. This leadership role is responsible for managing field crews, ensuring adherence to safety and productivity standards, and maintaining project excellence through hands-on management and strategic oversight.
This is a 100% travel role, with the expectation of frequent travel on short notice and extended stays on-site. Candidates must be based in Texas or the Southeastern United States.
Primary Responsibilities

Supervise all field electrical construction activities and support Field Managers with daily execution.

Lead manpower planning and scheduling to ensure adequate resources and effective work allocation.

Maintain site safety and quality control; enforce company and regulatory standards.

Review blueprints and project documentation to identify constructability issues and value engineering opportunities.

Assist with layout planning, material procurement, and prefabrication efforts.

Set initial project goals and benchmarks; track progress using internal performance tools.

Conduct daily/weekly look-ahead planning and contribute to CPM schedule development.

Perform jobsite walk-throughs and audits to evaluate field performance and identify training needs.

Monitor labor hours and project budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery.

Serve as the liaison with client-side field teams to resolve technical and operational issues.

Help align workforce levels with project backlog and timelines.
Position Requirements

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a superintendent or field leadership role.

Proven experience managing projects valued at $10M–$20M.

Active Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State Certified).

OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E Certification required.

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to travel 100%, including extended stays on job sites across Texas and the Southeast.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year (plus completion bonuses and incentives)

Per Diem: $35/day + hotel accommodations
