Interstates is looking for Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our National Traveling Team. Primary Function

The Licensed Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. This full-time, travel-based role focuses on ensuring safe and efficient project execution, troubleshooting, and code compliance across multiple job sites nationwide.

Tools and Equipment Used

• Cordless Milwaukee Power Tool Kit (provided)

• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment – provided)

• Hand and power tools

• Electrical testing equipment

• Ladders, lifts, and other job site-specific equipment

Materials Handled

• Electrical conduit and wiring

• Switchgear, panels, and circuit breakers

• Lighting systems and fixtures

• Industrial electrical components

• Blueprints and schematics

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company procedures

• Collaborate with team members and project supervisors on job site coordination

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Travel to various job sites across the United States on a full-time basis

• Mentor apprentices and junior electricians when applicable

• Participate in ongoing training and license renewal support
