Perform welding, brazing, and cutting on all types of pipe in an industrial construction environment following jobsite specifications and welding procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Company’s commitment to safety and core values

• Maintain high moral standards adhering to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

• Collaborate effectively with peers, supervision, and QA/QC department

• Select equipment and plan layout and assembly of welding tasks

• Weld various types, sizes, and alloys of pipe using ARC, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, GAS, MIG, TIG processes

• Weld high and low pressure pipe per specifications; all welds subject to NDE testing including visual, hydrostatic, and 100% x-ray

• Fit up pipe and perform grinding as needed

• Weld structural steel, handrails, brackets, and non-piping components

• Work within precise limits and maintain high accuracy

• Identify and mitigate safety hazards proactively

• Perform additional duties as requested by supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting required

• Ability to communicate clearly

• Use hands and arms for gripping, pushing, pulling tools and materials

• Lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs

• Work at heights including ladders, stairways, platforms (with fall protection)

• Work in various weather conditions wearing appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, respirators, gloves, boots)

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years welding experience in refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction

• Practical welding skills with ability to pass weld tests: Tig/Stick - 70S-6/7018 on CS Monster Coupon (2-3/4" x 5/8") and 4" Sch 10 - Tig - 308L SS

• Completion of Matrix Service Safety, Process Safety Management, and site-specific training

• Ability to obtain and maintain active status within required drug testing program

• Pass background screening
