Summit Skilled Solutions is currently hiring LOCAL Ironworkers for a compressor station project in New Lexington, OH. This physically demanding role involves assembling, installing, and welding pre-engineered and standard structural steel components per blueprints and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rig and bolt-up structural steel components

• Use plasma cutting equipment for precise steel cutting

• Assemble and install beams, columns, girders, and other steel parts

• Weld, solder, or bolt steel components to ensure structural integrity

• Operate cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment safely

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and project documentation for accurate layout

• Ensure all work complies with codes, standards, and safety regulations

• Inspect completed work to identify and resolve defects or issues

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience as an Ironworker

• Strong mechanical aptitude; skilled with hand and power tools

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

• Must live locally to the New Lexington, OH area

• Must pass drug test and background check

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay between $28 and $30, based on experience

• Guaranteed overtime on a 6/10s schedule
