Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking a skilled Pipelayer for a commercial construction project in Madison, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various piping systems and materials in commercial and underground settings. This is a physically demanding role requiring a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of piping systems, including ductile pipe with mechanical joints, Flex Ring, Lockring, Mega Lugs, and associated fittings and valves.

• Lay RCP/HDPE storm pipe, manholes, vaults, and catch basins.

• Work with C-900 slip joint, HDPE fusion, flanged pipe, DIP, PVC, CPVC, and steel piping systems.

• Use supports such as flotation collars, clevis hangers, and glue-joint systems (PVC, CPVC, dual containment, etc.).

• Grade trenches and culverts, position and align pipes, and seal joints securely.

• Perform general labour tasks including trench digging and shovel work.

• Follow all company safety protocols and contribute to a drug-free jobsite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction pipe laying experience preferred

• Experience with underground ductile iron piping required

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs

• Physically capable of stooping, bending, and standing for extended periods

• Strong understanding of construction safety standards
