

Trade Team is currently seeking experienced Structural Welders for a shipyard project located in Marinette, WI. This role is crucial to the construction and structural integrity of vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FCAW welding and blueprint reading, and will be expected to perform welding tasks with high precision and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Primary Function:
The primary function of the Structural Welder is to perform FCAW welding in various positions (2G, 3G, 4G) on steel structures in a shipyard environment. The role also requires the ability to interpret and work from blueprints and other technical drawings.

Materials Handled:

Welding rods, flux core wire

Metal assemblies and fabrication materials
Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural welding in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions using FCAW techniques

Interpret and follow blueprints and welding symbols

Conduct proper joint preparation, welding, and post-weld cleanup

Follow all safety regulations and company policies on-site

Maintain high-quality welds that meet shipyard and project specifications

Work effectively within a team to meet project deadlines

Participate in blueprint reading and other skill evaluations as required
