Hutco, Inc. is currently seeking experienced Combo Welders/Fitters for industrial projects in Paducah, KY, and St. Louis, MO. This role is vital to supporting fabrication and installation efforts by delivering precise welds and quality fits in demanding environments. Candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency and physical capability while maintaining safety standards at all times.

Primary Function:

The Combo Welder/Fitter will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, fitting structural components, and executing high-quality welds in accordance with project specifications and industry safety standards.

Tools and Equipment Used:

• Welding machines (SMAW, GTAW)

• Grinders and cutting tools

• Torches and clamps

• Measuring instruments (tape measures, levels)

• PPE: Hard hat, steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses

Materials Handled:

• Carbon steel

• Stainless steel

• Structural steel components and pipe fittings

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fitting duties per job specifications and blueprints

• Operate welding tools and equipment in a safe, efficient manner

• Navigate confined spaces and elevated surfaces to complete tasks

• Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs (occasionally 75 lbs)

• Follow all safety protocols and participate in required drug and E-Verify testing

• Maintain tools and work area in clean and working condition

• Work collaboratively with other crew members and supervisors
