Tesla is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our large-scale EPC project team. What You’ll Do:

• Perform general and advanced carpentry tasks with a minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Journeyman Carpenter (applicants with less experience will be assessed accordingly).

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; contribute to creating as-built drawings.

• Install and properly align door frames and hardware, ensuring all components are secure and functional.

• Conduct pre-work task planning and hazard identification to maintain a safe job site.

• Work safely at heights up to 80 feet as required.

• Lead small construction projects, providing accurate schedule estimates, progress updates, and identifying potential project impacts.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, effectively communicating with all levels of management and team members.

• Demonstrate proficiency using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.

• Complete job scopes outside of typical carpentry tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.

What You’ll Bring:

• Ability to produce material lists and detailed work plans from drawings or field observations.

• Experience in creating accurate as-built drawings for completed work.

• Strong proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing door frames and hardware.

• Skilled in fitting and adjusting doors, including hinge, lock, and hardware installation.

• Leadership capabilities to manage small projects and work independently or collaboratively.

• A focus on workplace safety, with a demonstrated understanding of hazard evaluations and mitigation strategies.
