

Trillium is seeking experienced Orbital Welders for long-term pharmaceutical piping installations across multiple job sites in North Carolina. Candidates must be proficient in AMI 207 and 217 orbital welding systems and possess experience with Swagelok M200 for precision welds on high purity stainless steel tubing.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform orbital welding on stainless steel high purity tubing using AMI 207, 217, and Swagelok M200 systems

Program, calibrate, and operate orbital welding machines according to precise specifications

Select appropriate weld methods and parameters based on tubing size and project requirements

Inspect, document, and record weld data for quality control and traceability

Work in accordance with pharmaceutical-grade cleanliness standards (GMP)

Follow all safety protocols and job site policies across multiple active construction environments
Requirements:

Extensive experience with AMI 207 and 217 orbital welding machines

Proficiency with Swagelok M200 orbital welding system (preferred for smaller assemblies)

Must pass pre-employment orbital weld test in Raleigh, NC (compensated if passed)

Ability to read and interpret detailed isometric drawings, weld maps, and work orders

Must be able to commit to long-term project and full schedule (84 hrs/week)

Previous experience in pharmaceutical or cleanroom environments is highly desirable
Work Conditions:

Physically demanding role requiring standing for long periods, climbing, and lifting materials

Cleanroom procedures and PPE may be required

Work is performed on active industrial/pharmaceutical construction sites

Must be able to travel and stay near job sites (per diem provided)
