What You’ll Do

• Champion Safety: Actively prioritize safety for yourself and others, following MSHA and Vulcan standards, and reporting unsafe conditions.

• Operate Equipment: Safely operate mobile equipment loaders to load aggregates, feed the plant, and load trucks, ensuring legal load limits. Operate a loader to prep mining sites and assist in material processing.

• Monitor Materials: Ensure adequate material feed and inspect stockpiles for compliance with specifications.

• Equipment Inspections & Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, complete daily equipment reports, and assist in plant maintenance and housekeeping.

• Monitor Processes & Adjustments: Observe plant operations, report maintenance needs, and ensure safety at all times.

Skills You’ll Need

• Experience: 2+ years of experience operating loaders and dozers, preferably in a plant environment.

• Knowledge: Solid understanding of equipment capabilities, material specifications, and safety regulations (OSHA/MSHA).

• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, extended hours, and in all weather conditions. Ability to work in loud environments.

• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and respond to inquiries promptly.
