Key Responsibilities:

• Operate diesel-powered forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack/unstack materials.

• Move controls and levers to operate lifting devices for material handling.

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including cleaning, fueling, and lubricating.

• Safely stop or reset equipment when malfunctions occur and report issues immediately.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area, free from debris.

• Participate in action planning processes and contribute to operational improvements.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.

• Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform strenuous tasks.

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.

• Basic knowledge of machinery components and safe operating procedures.

• Ability to work independently and stay on task to meet production goals.

• Comfortable working in industrial environments and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

• Capable of standing, walking, climbing, and working at heights over 4 feet while wearing a harness.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around loud equipment.

Safety Commitment:

• Follow all company safety regulations and procedures.

• Wear required PPE, including hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and reflective gear.

• Utilize proper lifting techniques and follow lockout/tagout procedures when necessary.

• Report unsafe equipment or conditions immediately.
