Job Requirements: Experienced (5+ years) Pipefitter with a complete understanding of production processes and specialty trades functions and tools.

The candidate must have experience using hand tools, fixtures, and shop machinery as required. The candidate must have knowledge and experience in brazing and welding procedures. The candidate must also be able to read, interpret, and follow blueprints or technical drawings and understand associated welding symbols.

Have completed an apprenticeship program or demonstrate by doing the experience outline above. All applicants must provide a resume, be eligible for a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credential.

Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight will be determined by the specific job but no less than 30 pounds. Some travel is possible.

Education Requirements: High School Diploma required. Military technical school(s) desirable. Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
