Description: We are seeking a skilled Combo Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of industry codes and standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in fabricating and repairing metal structures and components.
Duties:
- Perform welding tasks using various methods including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
- Fabricate and assemble ductwork and other metal components according to project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Skills:
- Proficient in various welding techniques including FCAW, Stick welding, and soldering.
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
- Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers for precise measurements.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to fabricating and assembling metal components.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
