

All About Labor, LLC is seeking experienced 1st Class Structural Welders to join our team supporting premier shipyards in Pascagoula, MS. This position requires skilled professionals dedicated to producing high-quality welds on structural steel components of Navy and commercial vessels. Candidates must demonstrate precision, safety awareness, and consistency in all welding operations.
Primary Function:
To perform expert-level welding on structural steel, fabricating, joining, and repairing components in accordance with project blueprints and welding procedure specifications. The 1st Class Structural Welder plays a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of vessel frameworks.
Tools and Equipment Used:

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) systems

Structural steel cutting and preparation tools

Welding inspection and quality control instruments

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and procedure specifications

Perform structural welding using SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, or other required processes

Inspect welds to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

Work effectively in confined spaces, at heights, and under varying environmental conditions

Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as needed

Participate in welding qualification tests and ongoing training
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a structural welder in shipyard or heavy industrial settings

Valid welding certifications demonstrating proficiency in relevant welding techniques

Ability to read and understand detailed welding procedures and blueprints

Successful completion of a hands-on welding qualification test

Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and in physically demanding environments
Pay & Benefits:

$30.00 to $34.00 per hour, depending on qualifications

$147.00 daily per diem for qualified candidates

Weekly pay schedule

40 to 70 hours per week, including overtime opportunities

Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend work
