Genesis Industrial Staffing is currently seeking First-Class Marine Electricians (also known as Electrical Journeymen) to support shipbuilding operations in Pascagoula, MS. This role is ideal for highly skilled tradespeople who are experienced in shipboard electrical systems and thrive in fast-paced industrial environments.

Job Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain shipboard cable systems and electrical components

• Perform layout and installation of lighting, electronics, and ship’s power systems

• Utilize hand and power tools, testing devices, and work from blueprints and schematics

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform precise diagnostics

• Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in variable weather conditions

• Support safety practices that meet or exceed industry standards

• Adapt to either day or night shifts based on project needs

Work Environment:

• Active shipyard/industrial setting

• Physically demanding: requires lifting, crouching, climbing, and exposure to outdoor conditions

• Must follow all safety protocols including use of PPE (personal protective equipment)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of marine or industrial electrical experience

• Proficient in shipboard cable installation and electrical blueprint interpretation

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Must pass background screening and comply with site safety regulations

• Must provide proof of residency (utility bill in applicant’s name) if applying for per diem
