

A-Lert Construction Services, a division of Centurion Industries, Inc., is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our industrial construction and maintenance team. This role involves the installation, dismantling, movement, fabrication, and repair of machinery, heavy equipment, and structural components in diverse processing industries. Primary Function:
Install, dismantle, fabricate, and move machinery, heavy equipment, and structural steel components based on detailed blueprints and schematics. Perform precision alignments and secure machinery using welding, bolting, and riveting methods while ensuring safety and structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

Dismantle, move, assemble, and install machinery and equipment using appropriate tools and methods.

Fabricate metal parts and structural components based on project specifications.
-
Cut and weld materials using industry-standard techniques.
-
Construct equipment foundations and align machines for precise operation.
-
Secure machines and equipment using bolting, welding, or riveting.
-
Perform repairs and lubrication of machines and equipment as needed.
-
Follow all safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate activities.
Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and schematic drawings.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to precise standards of accuracy.
-
Physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working at heights, including on ladders and scaffolding.

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and alignment tools.
-
Strong visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) and excellent hand-eye coordination.

Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings: drug test, physical exam, background check, customer security check, and other assessments as applicable.

Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to understand and follow directions.
