

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Millwright to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of plant machinery by installing, repairing, lubricating, and maintaining mechanical apparatus and equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Primary Function:
Install, repair, lubricate, and maintain mechanical equipment and apparatus throughout the plant, ensuring optimal machinery performance and minimizing downtime.

Machine parts and assemblies

Pipe, tubing, hose, grease, oil, cable, rope, chain

Jacks, tools, and equipment requiring repairs

Fittings, cutting supplies, compressors, filters, lubricants

Steam traps, valves, gas, acid, compressed gas cylinders
Key Responsibilities:
-
Complete required records, time cards, reports, PM requisitions, and surveys.

Perform incidental minor duties in support of primary job functions.
-
Operate power trucks, man lifts, mobile equipment, and cranes.
-
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, charts, and sketches.
-
Perform burning, welding, brazing, heating, and soldering as needed.
-
Plan work details, determine materials and tool requirements.
-
Repair, replace, assemble, disassemble, clean, and test mechanical equipment.
-
Install, test, repair, inspect, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, gas, acid, water, coolant, and space heating systems.

Replace and install lubrication fittings; change oil and grease equipment.
-
Operate production equipment in conjunction with maintenance activities.
-
Perform precision alignments on coupling gears and scrap bearings to close tolerances.
-
Keep equipment, work areas, and lunchroom clean and orderly.
-
Perform rigging, setups, and lifts; maintain filtering equipment.
-
Conduct fabricating work as required.
-
Perform lock-out and tag-out procedures in compliance with safety standards.
-
Conduct miscellaneous painting in assigned work areas.
-
Form, tie, and install reinforcing steel.
