We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Wastewater Pipefitter to join our team for an industrial construction project. This role requires experience with a variety of pipe materials, each featuring different joint types. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how to successfully install all types of piping and related components.
Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of process equipment, including tanks, pumps, conveyors, centrifuges, and belt filter presses.

Install a wide variety of interior piping systems, including ductile iron pipe, stainless steel, copper, and PVC.

Install various buried yard piping systems, such as mechanical joint and sanitary sewer ductile iron pipe, reinforced concrete pipe, HDPE, and PVC.

Install pipe appurtenances, including valves, pressure gauges, and pipe specials.

Install and maintain pipe supports.

Rig and handle heavy items as necessary.

Fit threaded and welded pipe joints.

Perform pipe testing to ensure proper function and integrity.

Repair leaks in piping systems.

Read and interpret construction drawings.

Basic layout and surveying work.
Qualifications:

Experience with a wide variety of pipe materials and joint types.

Ability to install different types of piping systems and related components.

Knowledge of pipe fitting, welding, and installation techniques.

Strong understanding of construction drawings and basic surveying.

Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
